Location: Odessa, Midland, or Dallas Metroplex (travel to West Texas required – all expenses covered)

The Jimenez | Floyd Law Firm, a well-established practice with over 17 years of success in family law, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney with at least 3 years of family law trial experience to join our growing team. Position Details
Title: Family Law Attorney
Practice Area: Family Law
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years (must include family law trial experience)
Location: Odessa, Midland, or Dallas Metroplex (occasional travel to West Texas and DFW – all travel expenses paid)
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, modifications, enforcements, and adoptions.
Represent clients in hearings and trials across West Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, orders, and settlement agreements.
Work collaboratively with attorneys and paralegals to provide exceptional client service.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and advocacy.

Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional weekends as needed

Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active Texas State Bar license (required).
Minimum of 3 years of family law practice, with trial experience.
Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage cases independently while thriving in a team environment.
